HOW TO PLAY

Guai 3 is a 3-player climbing card game, similar to Big Two and President (Scum).

If you've played either of them, you'll already know the basics:

Play a higher combination of the same type, or pass. First player to empty their hand wins.

What makes Guai 3 different?

Card ranking:
3 > 2 > A > K > Q > J > 10 > 9 > 8 > 7 > 6 > 5 > 4

Suits don't matter.
♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ are equal. The only special card is ♥4: its holder goes first, and the opening play must include ♥4.

Valid plays:
Single · Pair · Triple · Triple + One · Straight · Consecutive Pairs

Same type, same size.
You can only beat a play with a higher play of the same type and number of cards. There are no bombs.

Straights:
At least 3 cards. A, 2 and 3 cannot be used.
Highest 3-card Straight: J-Q-K

Consecutive Pairs:
At least 3 consecutive Pairs. A, 2 and 3 cannot be used.

Triple + One:
Both the Triple and the extra card must be higher.

888 + J beats 777 + 9 ✓
888 + 6 does NOT beat 777 + 9 ✗

Ranking

There are no teams.

1st: First player to empty their hand
2nd: Second player to empty their hand
3rd: Last player remaining

Competitive Mode: 1st randomly takes 2 cards from 3rd before the next game, then gives 2 cards back. 3s, 2s, Aces and ♥4 are protected.

No-Limit Competitive: No protected cards. Any card can be taken.

That's it.

Beat it or pass. Get rid of your cards. Don't finish third.
